Overlooking the guest house gardens and the Mae Sot canal, the map room was inspired by navigation, exploration and illustration.

It combines elements of topography, interpretative tapestry and vintage imports from Canada in an eclectic mix of East meets West; old meets new; and the real meets the imagined. What are the borders between all of these and how can we define them? What is a border, really, if no one can mark out the deliniations?

All of these questions travel through the Map Room as we attempt to explore, conquer, and re-draw our lives.
